Zune music file format?

Curious what file format is used for purchased Zune music. I'm going to give Zune Pass a go and will likely keep it. I'm wondering what format the purchased files are and if I'll be able to use in iTunes.

If there is a MP3 logo next to the album then it's obviously going to be MP3 but if not it will be .wma.

Than the ipod touch? i have one i just want to know is it worth makeing the switch?

i had an ipod touch, and i traded it for the zune hd. i think it is night and day better. the zune hd is a lot more user friendly, lighter, more compact, plays hd movies, has hd radio, etc. i didn't use many apps for the touch, but if you are big into the apps stick with what you have. if you are like me, and just want a better music/video player, then switch to the zune hd
